NSW DEMONSTRATIONS/CHAMPIONSHIPS 1932  –  2016

 

“The Alfred Webb Trophy is awarded for the highest aggregate number of points gained during the Demonstration. A condition attaching to the award is that in the event of an equal number of points being gained by two or more teams, the Trophy is awarded to the team gaining the highest number of points for Discipline.

This Trophy was donated to the Board by the family of the late   Alfred Webb, Chief officer of the Metropolitan Fire Brigades from 1888  to 1913. The donors are Mr Justice Webb, recently retired from the Bench of the Industrial Commission, Mr H. M. Webb, former  Secretary to the Board, and the two daughters of the late Chief,  Misses  A. and H. Webb.”
